Robert E. Parsons

Mr. Parsons was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1957 and is one of the founding partners of Parsons, Lee & Juliano.

He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1957 and then served four years on active duty as a Staff Judge Advocate, United States Air Force, stationed in Germany. After discharge from active duty, he served 17 years active reserve as a Staff Judge Advocate and retired in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Mr. Parsons is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the American Society of Law and Medicine, and the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys. In 1977 he was named Birmingham "Lawyer of the Year."

He is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh and Fifth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Eleventh Circuit Historical Society.

Mr. Parsons' primary areas of practice include the defense of physicians, hospitals, psychologists and other healthcare providers, the defense of product liability claims, and automobile and truck liability.

Robert and his wife of 48 years, the former Suzanne Dryer of Fairhope, Alabama, have two children, Robert, Jr. and Ashley, and three grandchildren.
