Recent Highlights David Lee and Paul Juliano obtain a defense verdict in a tractor-trailer case in Lee County During the week of November 30, 2009, David Lee and Paul Juliano defended a trucking company and its driver in a personal injury lawsuit that was pending in the Circuit Court of Lee County, AL. The plaintiff claimed that the truck driver changed lanes on I-85 North in Auburn and struck the plaintiff's SUV knocking it out-of-control and off the interstate. The plaintiff claimed that he suffered injuries to his left eye, neck, and back during the course of the collision. He was seeking both compensatory and punitive damages. David and Paul convinced the jury that the truck driver was operating his tractor-trailer in a safe manner and was not guilty of negligence. The jury returned a unanimous defense verdict in favor of David and Paul's clients. |
